About the role
We have an exciting position to further align our teaching and research portfolio toward BU’s 2035
strategic investment areas and applications are invited for the role of Lecturer in Sport and Exercise
Science with a specialisation in Physiology. To succeed in the role, you will be able to demonstrate a
contemporary knowledge and understanding of current practice in your area. You will be enthusiastic
about student-centred pedagogy and you will contribute to education delivery, including programme
management as required, across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will be
engaged in research, innovation and knowledge-exchange activities which may include innovative CPD,
short course activities and developing personal areas of research scholarship and professional expertise.
You will also make a significant contribution to employability, and professional engagement with relevant
internal and external organisations, at a regional, national and international level.
You will be qualified to doctorate level or be able to demonstrate the ability to create and disseminate
knowledge at an equivalent level.
