We are looking for a Sport Psychologist who will deliver Sport Psychology services to a range of sports working towards the Beijing Winter Olympics and Commonwealth Games in 2022 and beyond. 

You will have post-graduate experience providing sports psychology support to performance athletes, and significant experience in designing and implementing sports psychology interventions for athletes. 

In this role, you will support the integration and provision of Sport Psychology with other service disciplines therefore an ability to work effectively both independently and with a varied network of coaching and multidisciplinary support staff is essential. 

To be considered for this role, you must have a PhD or master’s degree with major study in the Sports Psychology and accredited with BASES and BPS and registered with the HCPC (or working towards these). 

This vacancy is full-time with the day-to-day workload focused within the Scottish performance system therefore delivery will be a blend of home working and travel throughout the institute network. A full driving licence is essential, as is the ability to travel independently between sportscotland sites.
