Supervision approach
My approach to supervision is pragmatic. This means respecting and getting to understand the context in which you currently, or aim to, work in, the challenges that may impact upon you and addressing your support needs as a focus of making the Supervised Experience a success. As an interdisciplinary researcher and qualified sports coach, I recognise that the world is complex and that solutions vary for important and different reasons. Establishing a shared understanding of supervisor-supervisee expectations, Supervised Experience goals and reviewing opportunities available will assist us in our collaboration.
I am based in Edinburgh and am happy to supervise within the nearby area (both in person and online), or further afield in a less frequent in-person capacity.
Please do not hesitate to reach out in the first instance if you have any questions.
