Member proposals now invited for CASES Conference 2026 programme
13th June 2025
As part of our commitment to expand the breadth of content at CASES Conference 2026 (at Manchester Metropolitan University on 3-4 June 2026) and enable greater input from the membership, we are inviting CASES professional members to submit proposals for invited parallel sessions. This year, one parallel invited session in the CASES Conference 2026 programme will be from proposals submitted by professional members. Parallel invited sessions will be either invited lectures (one presenter) or invited symposia (two presenters). Sessions with more than one presenter should aim to cover both the fundamental science and high-quality applied work. All applications for invited symposia should demonstrate the potential to provoke good discussion with CASES delegates.
All submissions will be considered by the CASES Conference Scientific Planning Group, who will select the successful proposal based on topicality and interest to members. The lead presenter must be a professional member of CASES and must be available to present at the CASES Conference on either 3 or 4 June 2026. Please note that members who have been accepted for a member-invite session in the last two conferences are not eligible to submit a proposal.
For the member-invite session, CASES will cover the single day registration fee for the CASES Conference for up to two presenters.
CASES welcomes proposals across all sport and exercise disciplines. Proposals are particularly welcomed that involve fundamental research and/or applied practice of an inter-disciplinary and/or collaborative nature. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver your research and share insight with a wide audience of peers at CASES flagship CPD and networking event.
CASES is also committed to equity, diversity and inclusion. We therefore encourage applications from individuals who meet the required criteria, but we particularly encourage applications that will amplify the voices of people with a disability, those from culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds, women in STEMM and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
To submit your proposal please complete the proposal form here and email to enquiries@cases.org.uk. The deadline for submitting proposals is noon on Monday 1 September 2025.
Please note: CASES will be inviting abstract submissions for free communication presentations and poster presentations for CASES Conference 2026 as normal from around September 2025.
The deadline for all abstract submissions (free communication presentation, poster and 5 slides in 5 minutes free communication presentation) will be around 5 January 2026 (TBC).
